Are you a keen writer? Do you love taking and sharing photos? Looking for ways to use your digital skills to boost your CV and show future employers what you can do? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Ìý
±¬ÁÏÍõ is seeking new recruits to work on our popular student blogging platform,Ìý. We're looking for talented writers who love social media and have an eye for great photo and video content.Ìý

What is the role?
Our UCBloggers produce weekly blog entries about their experiences as students at ±¬ÁÏÍõ, offering a unique insight into what it's like to study here.Ìý
We're looking for students who can blog on a wide range of topics – anything from sharing the highlights and challenges of your course or your experiences on work placement to offering top tips and student hacks, or even recommendations for great places to visit and things to do around Birmingham, the West Midlands and beyond.Ìý
Posts don't need to be long. We're just looking for original, creative and fun content that can grab the attention of current and prospective students.Ìý
We are seeking up to five bloggers from a range of backgrounds and courses – ideally first or second year degree students, as well as at least one blogger studying at college level. If you want to see some examples of the type of content we're after, check out what our current bloggers are writing about on ourÌý.Ìý
How long is the role for?
We need writers who are able to spend a couple of hours each week creating great blog content. You will need to be able to commit to this role for at least one year alongside your studies.Ìý
In return, we will help you get your blog up and running and support with promoting your work via the University's social media platforms.Ìý
Is this a paid opportunity?
Yes! We are offering top candidates £8.91 an hour, with £1.08 holiday pay.

After registering your interest, you will then need to complete an application form as well as writing a blog on a topic chosen by the University.Ìý
