A young Cheshire hotelier has been named as the first recruit for a new collaborative Management Trainee course in partnership with hotel management company RBH and 爆料王.

High-flier Charlotte Parr, aged 19, scored the first of 25 sought-after places on the foundation degree course after impressing bosses in her conferencing and events role at historic Crewe Hall hotel, which is operated by the hotel management company.

RBH 鈥 formerly Redefine|BDL Hotels 鈥 announced the programme earlier this year, following its success across its luxury QHotels portfolio in recent years.

It will allow candidates to earn and learn, working within the hotel industry, while gaining a recognised, formal qualification from the University.

Charlotte said: 鈥淚鈥檝e received lots of support and encouragement from my colleagues at Crewe Hall throughout this process, and I鈥檓 thrilled to be embarking on this new chapter in my career.

鈥淚鈥檒l be able to work and learn, while furthering my career in hotel management, and I can鈥檛 wait to get started.鈥

Sarah Abercrombie, RBH鈥檚 Educational Development Manager, said: 鈥淲ith only 25 places on our Management Trainee course, which is open to both RBH employees and external candidates, competition is fierce.

鈥淲e are very proud to reveal Charlotte as the first successful candidate. She has excelled in her current role within Crewe Hall over the last two years and I鈥檓 sure she has a bright future ahead of her here at RBH.

鈥淭he course has gone from strength to strength in recent years and we鈥檙e delighted it has been announced as a flagship RBH programme for 2018.鈥
