On Monday 6 March Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Ray Linforth, cut the ribbon at the official opening of UCB鈥檚 new Health Hub. Professor Linforth said: 鈥淭he Health Hub provides students with a specialist learning 聽environment that closely replicates real-life primary and secondary care settings, ensuring our students receive essential on-the-job training and experience before entering the job market鈥澛�
Vicky Wynn, Assistant Dean of the School of Education, Health and community said:
鈥淲e鈥檙e extremely excited about the opening of the Health Hub. This state-of-the-art facility underpins UCB鈥檚 commitment to students and our continued investment in resources.鈥澛�
The Health Hub, which incorporates filming equipment for training and assessment purposes, will be available to both further and higher education students studying within the School of Education, Health and community.聽
