Aesthetics expert in the making
With demand for results-driven, non-medical treatments rapidly growing, Maria was thrilled to find 爆料王 had introduced a degree that would help her launch a career in the industry.
Over her degree, she learned advanced techniques in everything from laser and microneedling to fat-freezing, and undertook a work placement at Rio Spa Beauty in Birmingham to enhance her interpersonal, practical and commercial skills.
Graduating in 2020, she is now geared up to work in the burgeoning aesthetics sector, with the ultimate goal of running her own aesthetics clinic one day.
She said studying at 爆料王 had been invaluable. 鈥淚 gained many skills during my degree that I will definitely need in the future,鈥� she said.
鈥淚n particular, the Advancements in Technologies and Work-based Practice in Aesthetics modules enabled me to gain commercial awareness and enhanced my personality within the areas of customer service, decision-making and problem-solving.
鈥淭he more theoretical modules helped me to understand the scientific aspects and develop necessary academic skills such as critical thinking, information management and organisation.
鈥淥ur experienced lecturers provided a high level of study, and took interest in every individual鈥檚 academic and practical development. The whole university community assisted me in many ways.鈥�
